Artichokes and Lemons

  2. One of my favorite recipes....and I just thought the textures and color were nice.
    Steaming artichokes...
    Trim and have 2 artichokes.
    Season with salt; place cut-side down in a bowl with some lemon wedges and thyme sprigs. Pour in 1/3 cup each white wine and olive oil; cover and microwave 20 minutes. Mix a bit of the cooking liquid with mayonnaise for a dipping sauce. This is out of the Food Network magazine for June/July 2009.

  3. Yum! I know what I'm having for dinner. (Oh, who am I kidding? We both know I'm having Lean Cuisine, but this sure looks de-lish.)
