This guy spent the day resting up by our AC unit. I have never seen a luna moth before and was very anxious to share. After doing a little internet search, I discovered that they only fly at night and only live about a week as an adult.

If they only live a week, I don't wonder that you've never seen one. How nice that this one opted to spend a full seventh of its life hanging out with you.
